Greg Levinson - Portfolio Manager

Greg has managed each Fund since its inception. He has 20 years of industry experience in equities, equity-linked securities, and derivatives. Greg was formerly a Senior Portfolio Manager for a multi-billion dollar hedge fund where he was the head of global convertible and equity-linked trading. Previously he was the Founder and CIO of Polaris Advisors LP, an equity-linked market neutral manager specializing in convertible arbitrage, equity, and derivative strategies. Prior to forming Polaris he was a Managing Director and Head Trader of convertible arbitrage at BNP/Cooper Neff where he led the U.S. convertibles team. His responsibilities included oversight of all group operations and strategy development. Prior to becoming Managing Director, he was Senior Vice President of Trading and the head trader for Banque Nationale de Paris’ (“BNP”) proprietary convertibles trading group. Greg is a graduate of The Wharton School of The University of Pennsylvania.
Tony Fusco - Portfolio Manager
Schooner Fund, Schooner Hedged Alternative Income Fund
Tony is the Senior Trader for Schooner Investment Group as well as Portfolio Manager for both the Schooner Fund and the Schooner Hedged Alternative Income Fund. Tony is a graduate of The Wharton School of The University of Pennsylvania, with a Bachelor of Science in Economics/Finance. Previous experience includes; convertible arbitrage trader for multi-billion dollar multi-strategy hedge fund, and head of convertible trading for Polaris Advisors LP, an equity-linked market neutral manager specializing in convertible arbitrage, equity, and derivative strategies. He began his career in 1996 as a U.S. equity derivatives trader at BNP/Cooper Neff where he worked alongside current Schooner Partner Greg Levinson.
Morgan Avitabile, CFA - Portfolio Manager
Schooner Hedged Alternative Income Fund
Morgan Avitabile is an Associate on the Investment Management Team and a Portfolio Manager for the Schooner Hedged Alternative Income Fund. Prior to joining Schooner, Morgan was a Portfolio Manager for a hedge fund where he specialized in developing and managing fixed income alternative strategies through the application of quantitative modeling. Previously, he was Vice President and Senior Trader at BNP/Cooper Neff where he managed convertible arbitrage and credit strategy portfolios for proprietary and separately managed client accounts, working alongside Schooner partners Greg Levinson and Tony Fusco. Morgan is a CFA Charterholder and a member of CFA Institute. He is an active member of the Board of Directors of the CFA Society of Philadelphia, where he is extensively involved in the Society’s media and communication activities. Morgan holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the School of Engineering and Applied Science at the University of Pennsylvania.
